So, since I came back, I’ve been hearing these v͈̼͉̮̺͞ͅo̷̝͍̜̜͠ì̛̹̩̮̠̞͡c̸͉͎̖͓̀e͈̱̗͇͔͓ͅs̵͉̯̻̻̱̠͎ͅͅ.̫̳̟̝́͟

They mostly come in short, 30-second bursts, usually with mildly helpful information in flowery language. Things like ”J҉oi͜n the̡ st̵ars, ͜they çl̴a͜m͢or̷ ͜for ̨youŗ s̕ơul̨. ͞As̀çend̕ a͢n̵d̶ ́b͝éco͟me one̵ ͡o͏f̕ ̷u̵s.̕”͡ or ”Tḩę ͘K-͏C͞uṕs ̡h͝ave arrived̕”̵ or ̣͉̻”F̤̥r͇͍̞̰e̶̪e̦̤͚ ͚̫͞C̷͖h̥͟r̩̝is̱̹̮̞͇̪̬t͕m̹̲̭͎̹͕á̰̼s̳̻̺̘̹ ̤̙͕͙͇͓̤b̸l͍̻̗e̢͙̱̬͓͍ņ̗ḑ͕̰̝  s̸̯a̭͖m̺͎̪̺p͖̯̘l̦͍̱e̻͕͕̕s̮̮̮̤̦̰͜ ̳̳̀w̯͝h̫̘ẹ̙̰̝͢n̯̖͈̰͇̕ ̰͖͍̜͔y̖̫͓ou͓͇̪̟̼ ̢pu̮̝͙̘ṟ̛̱c҉̜h̶͓̣̤̫̗ͅą͔s̺̟͚̩e̛̝̥̥̺ ̤̫̮̭an̼̞̹̖̺͇y̳͓̗ ̼̲̝w͉̙̦̜̩h̺̼̗̱̰oḽ̞͎͙͔͚̠e̢͍-͙̟̼b͔̳̰e̝͚̪͞a̶̝͉̯͙̬n͔͓̲͈͟ ̼̬o̷͈̤̲̻̟͕r̵͔̫ ̲̯͍̺ͅg̘̖̱r̟͕̳̪̀o̦u̴̱̟͈͎ͅǹ̻̖̳̤̺ḑ̣̼̳̻ ̭̳̻̲c̯̦̮̜͎̬̫o̱̺̳̹̟͙͠f͓̣̹̣͇̜͉f̯͚͓͓̝͕͚e̯̤̟͓͕͇e͇̹.҉”͎̝͙̱̦̕

They don’t seem to have any ill intent though.

Plus, they told me that we’ve relaxed the dress code a bit, which is nice.

This is my sort of short summary of the photos I took (hint: there were over a hundred) at Welcome to Night Vale Live in Manchester Saturday night.

I’m just so pumped that I got to go and then actually talk to people and get signatures AND CHAT WITH JEFFREY CRANOR FOR LIKE FIVE MINUTES??

Slightly saddened by lack of certain characters/cast but hey literally one of the best experiences of my life so I can’t exactly complain! Loved it to absolute pieces and Cecil himself signed my intern badge. Thank god I got it before I died horrifically.

  • me: THEY ARE US

Trying to take pic’s of things that glow-in-the-dark is tricky for me but I think I’m getting better.

nightbloggingvale:

I don’t think this is what they meant when they said Cecil was ‘holding a cat’. Who knows?

I was at Welcome To Night Vale at the Union Chapel tonight. I’m not going to say anything because I don’t want to spoil the show but if you’ve got tickets for the tour you are in for a treat!

Photos are mine.

If you’re superwholock and you so much as even “can see their point” even a little bit, just unfollow me and write an apology letter to everyone who’s ever been kind to you in your entire life

K. I’mma get hate for this. I was gonna stay shut up, I really was, because I don’t want to cause drama.

But the simple fact of the matter is, I’m getting sick and tired of being hated on because I like a show, Or a series of shows.

If you think the show(s) are problematic- fine. I will admit, there are major things wrong with them. And, to be honest, I haven’t watched Doctor Who or Supernatural in literal months. (Or Sherlock but that’s more because of lack of content coming out.)

But this is just- I’ve seen a load of hate going out towards the people who like these shows, too. People who might be wonderful, decent people. People who are- I’m friends with a few of them.

Hate the shows. Hate the creators. That’s fine. I don’t care. I will openly admit these shows have problems they need to fix.

But I do not deserve to be treated like dirt because I happen to think that Supernatural has a very cool storyline, interesting way of writing monsters, and characters I can enjoy.

I do not deserve to be treated like dirt because I like a show about an alien in a blue box that sweeps people away on epic adventures.

I do not deserve to be treated like dirt because I really enjoy Sherlock, and the love letter to the original books quite a few of the episodes are.

Disagree with me about it.

Think I’m wrong for enjoying them.

That’s fine. Both those things are fine.  I’m not of the habit of defending these shows or shoving them in people’s faces.

But you have no right to act like I’m a horrible person because I like a series of TV shows anymore then I have the right to think anyone who likes Dexter or Hannibal is a  horrible person who wants to kill people.

I’m sure this post will get me hate. It might even get me unfollowed by a few people. Oh well.  I can only hope that the people who follow me understand that you can dislike a show or a group of shows without being a GREAT FLAMING ASSHOLE to the people who do like them.

I’m a good person. My friends are good people.

But according to this post and many others like it, I’m disgusting trash for liking tv shows.

You can fuck right off with that. It’s not funny. It’s not a joke. It actually is really absurd, stupid, ridiculous, childish, trite, cruel, nasty, and makes me actually, yes, want to unfollow you. Because why the hell would I follow anyone who hates me based on a TV show I like?
